Besides the copper riveting, the solid teak parts have also been glued to each other with epoxy. Completely hand-built from 100% Java teak, finished with hand-made brass, copper and bronze metal attachments. The floor of the punt is made up of teak which rest on a teak frame, fixed to the main girders of the hull. Beautiful teak deck and features a tough-looking, practical rope fender with or without bow fender. The Linge Vlet has a helm with hydraulic steering and auxiliary steering arrangement with rudder tiller. Equipped with a strong, efficient three or four cylinder Vetus Mitsubishi marine engine with heavy-duty insulation. Vetus water-lubricated propeller shaft with flexible coupling. The woodwork has been treated up to the deck with 5 layers of see-through epoxy coating and the underwater hull has been treated with antifouling. The hull of the Lingevlet has been finished with 7 layers of 2-component and yacht varnish. Due to the applied modern epoxy glues and varnish coatings the maintenance can be kept to a minimum.
